West Craven High School is located in Vanceboro, North Carolina. The band program includes Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Indoor Colorguard and Indoor Percussion.  The Marching Band is the school’s largest organization with more than 100 students participating each year.

 

The Marching Eagles competes throughout Eastern and Central North Carolina and occasionally South Carolina and Virginia.  Each year, the Marching Eagles host the West Craven Classic; a marching competition that includes bands from across the state.

 

The Concert Band at West Craven regularly attends the Music Performance Adjudication in the Spring, with over 20 years of receiving Superior ratings.
